What Is TRE® Module 1?
TRE® (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a simple yet powerful body-based tool, developed by Dr. David Berceli, that activates a natural neurogenic tremoring mechanism to help discharge accumulated stress, tension and trauma from the nervous system.
Module 1 is the foundational certification level, giving you an in-depth theoretical understanding and supervised hands-on experience of TRE® — equipping you to integrate neurogenic tremoring safely into your professional practice and personal self-care.
This is the first time TRE® Module 1 is offered in Europe in English, opening the certification pathway to international coaches, therapists, and healthcare professionals based in or visiting Romania.

Self-Care and Presence for Coaches
- Welcome, introductions and context setting
- Introduction to TRE® — neuroscience, stress biology and the tremor mechanism
