What Is TRE™ Module 1?
TRE™ (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a simple yet powerful body-based tool, developed by Dr. David Berceli, that activates a natural neurogenic tremoring mechanism to help discharge accumulated stress, tension and trauma from the nervous system.
Module 1 is the foundational certification level, giving you an in-depth theoretical understanding and supervised hands-on experience of TRE™ — equipping you to integrate neurogenic tremoring safely into your professional practice and personal self-care.
This is the first time TRE™ Module 1 is offered in Europe in English, opening the certification pathway to international coaches, therapists, and healthcare professionals based in or visiting Romania.

Self-Care and Presence for Coaches
- Welcome, introductions and context setting
- Introduction to TRE™ — neuroscience, stress biology and the tremor mechanism
- Live TRE™ session experience (guided by Isabelle and Saymara)
- Q&A, integration and close
- Morning grounding and review of Day 1 experience
- Nervous system anatomy: autonomic nervous system, polyvagal theory, and the stress response cycle
- TRE™ protocol deep dive: the 7 exercises, facilitation cues and modifications
- Lunch break
- Supervised practice pairs: facilitating TRE™ with a partner
- Contraindications, safety and professional boundaries
- Afternoon TRE™ group session
- Integration, discussion and reflection circles
- Morning check-in and overnight integration shares
- Group facilitation practice — working with more complex presentations
- Integrating TRE™ into your practice context (coaching, therapy, group settings)

- Supervised self-practice and peer coaching with TRE™
