Why TRE® Is Worth Certifying In
TRE® (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises) activates the body's natural neurogenic tremoring response — a reflex that releases stored stress and trauma from the nervous system. Developed by Dr. David Berceli and backed by 40+ years of research, it is used with PTSD, chronic stress and general wellness populations across 100+ countries.
Unlike many modalities, TRE® can be taught to clients for independent practice — making it a high-value, scalable addition to any practitioner's toolkit.

How the Certification Works
Three modules — each a 2-day workshop plus online sessions — take you from personal practice to Certified Global TRE® Provider.
2-day workshop + 4 online personal TRE® sessions. Explore the stress response, understand the therapeutic tremor response, and experience TRE® as a self-practice — including self-regulation, containment and grounding strategies. The first step for anyone keen to pursue the certification path. 21 ICF CCEUs included.
2-day workshop + 4 online supervision sessions. Open to those who have completed Module 1. Deepens Module 1 content, covers Polyvagal theory and basic TRE® interventions, with hands-on practice teaching TRE® one-to-one.
2-day workshop + 4 online supervision sessions. Open to those who have completed all Module 2 requirements. Covers advanced TRE® interventions, the role of fascia, transference and counter-transference, and experience leading groups of 3+ persons.
On completing all three modules you receive your Global TRE® Provider certificate — qualified to offer TRE® to the public in individual and group settings, and to competently guide clients through the TRE® process.
