These Terms and Conditions govern your engagement with Business and Human Development Consulting Pte Ltd ("BHD Asia", "we", "us", "our"). By booking any of our services, events, or programmes, or by using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

"Client" refers to any individual or organisation that engages BHD Asia for services. "Services" includes coaching, consulting, facilitation, training programmes, workshops, and events. "Agreement" means any service agreement, booking confirmation, or contract between BHD Asia and the Client.

2. Engagement of Services

All engagements commence upon written confirmation of booking or signing of a service agreement. BHD Asia reserves the right to decline any engagement at its sole discretion. Services are described in the relevant programme or proposal documents provided to the Client.

3. Fees and Payment

Fees are as stated in the relevant booking confirmation, programme information, or proposal. All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. Payment is due as specified in the agreement — typically in advance for events and workshops. BHD Asia reserves the right to withhold service delivery until payment is received.

4. Early Bird and Promotional Pricing

Early bird and promotional prices are available for the period specified. Once the deadline has passed, the relevant pricing tier will apply automatically. BHD Asia is not obliged to honour early bird rates after the advertised deadline.

5. Cancellation Policy — Events and Workshops

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to isabelle@bhdasia.com. The following cancellation policy applies:

• More than 4 weeks before the event: full refund less an administrative fee of SGD 150
• 2–4 weeks before the event: 50% refund
• Less than 2 weeks before the event: no refund
• Substitutions (replacement attendees) are permitted at no additional cost if notified at least 48 hours before the event

6. Cancellation Policy — Coaching and Consulting

Individual coaching sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full session rate. Packages and retainers are non-refundable once commenced.

7. Event Postponement or Cancellation by BHD Asia

BHD Asia reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel events due to insufficient enrolment, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, Clients will be offered a transfer to a rescheduled date or a full refund of fees paid. BHD Asia will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants.

8. Confidentiality

BHD Asia treats all information shared in coaching and consulting engagements as strictly confidential. We will not disclose personal information shared during sessions to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law or where there is an immediate risk of harm. Clients are equally expected to maintain confidentiality regarding the coaching process and any shared materials.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials, content, programmes, frameworks, and methodologies developed or provided by BHD Asia remain the intellectual property of BHD Asia. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

BHD Asia's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by the Client for the relevant service. BHD Asia is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind, including loss of income, loss of business, or personal injury arising from the use of our services.

11. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Coaching and consulting are collaborative processes that require active engagement and commitment from the Client. BHD Asia does not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or achievements. Success depends significantly on the Client's own efforts, openness, and commitment to the process.

12. Health and Safety

Participants in TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) workshops and other somatic programmes are required to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications prior to participation. BHD Asia reserves the right to exclude participants from physical activities if deemed necessary for their safety. Participation is at the Client's own risk.

13. Code of Conduct

All participants in BHD Asia events and programmes are expected to behave respectfully and professionally toward other participants, facilitators, and staff. BHD Asia reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, discriminatory, or harmful, without refund.

14. Photography and Recording

BHD Asia may photograph or record events for promotional and educational purposes. By attending, participants consent to being included in such materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in advance. Recording of sessions by participants is not permitted without prior written consent.

15. Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with our services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Statement and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore. Please refer to our Privacy Statement for details.

16. Website Use

Our website is provided for informational purposes only. BHD Asia makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of website content. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; BHD Asia is not responsible for their content or practices.

17. Force Majeure

BHD Asia shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or technical failures.

18. Amendments

BHD Asia reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
